Sourcing Analyst

Tradition Energy is looking for dynamic energy sourcing professionals with experience working for a commercial energy supplier, or broker, in national deregulated energy markets.

The Sourcing Analyst position entails strategic sourcing, and negotiation of the overall business requirements for third party electricity and natural gas products and related services.

The candidate’s skill set must include the ability to:

• Facilitate daily procurement activities with Tradition's network of energy supply companies and our energy advisors for all deregulated markets in North America
• Negotiate prices and contract terms between clients and energy supply companies to achieve client objectives
• Engage with Tradition’s wholesale brokerage activities to track market movement and identify execution opportunities for clients
• Provide insight regarding energy and utility market developments across active deregulated power and gas markets in North America
• Produce detailed pricing and budget reports for clients, highlighting any potential differences between the various pricing received from energy supply companies

Applicants must have strong communication skills, Microsoft Excel skills, organization skills, relationship skills, negotiating skills, leadership qualities, and have the ability to think outside the box in a fast paced market place
