Tradition and TFS Green Win Prestigious Point Carbon Broker of the Year 2010 Award

New York, NY (March 10, 2010) – Tradition, a leading global interdealer broker and subsidiary of Compagnie Financiere Tradition, today announced its environmental team has, once again, been awarded the prestigious accolade ‘Broker of the Year’ by the leading analyst and news provider, Point Carbon.

This award is presented each year at the Carbon Market Awards ceremony, which was held this year in Amsterdam at the Carbon Market Insights conference. Voting is an open process with invitations to nominate sent to more than 1,000 Point Carbon subscribers. There is no short-list enabling subscribers to choose their own candidates in the three categories of Best Broker, Best Trader, and Best Project Developer, which were won by Tradition & TFS Green, Barclays Capital, and Noble Carbon Credits respectively.
