Tradition Energy Collaborates with Choice Facility Partners to Create Innovative National Governmental Purchasing Program

Houston, TX, (July 7, 2010)—Tradition Energy recently collaborated on an innovative new energy purchasing program with Choice Facility Partners (CFP), a division of the Harris County Department of Education providing cooperative purchasing services for schools, education-related organizations and other governmental entities nationwide.

The CFP Energy Purchasing Program is unique because it combines the public procurement process with wholesale market pricing and metrics provided by the program coordinator, Tradition Energy, one of the world’s largest energy procurement advisors. Tradition Energy’s wholesale energy brokerage service gives managers full access to wholesale energy market indicators, which allows them to provide additional insight and market transparency to ensure energy rate competitiveness.
