Texas Self Storage Association Selects Tradition Energy for Aggregation Services05/20/2008
Dallas, TX (May 19, 2008)—Tradition Energy, a full-service energy management advisory and one of the nation’s largest energy firms, today announced that it will provide energy procurement services to members of the Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA).
“Like so many business owners, the proprietors of self-storage facilities are incredibly busy,” says Ginny Sutton, Executive Director of TSSA. “Leveraging this program through their professional association will not only give self-storage businesses access to the most competitive rates available, it will also streamline the procurement process, saving valuable time.”
Tradition Energy will work with TSSA members to provide electricity procurement services through an aggregation program. Aggregation is a procurement strategy in which the loads of many similar energy users are combined in order to secure the most competitive possible pricing for the entire group. By combining the total usage, Tradition Energy is able to negotiate with suppliers for more competitive rates than any of the facilities might be able to obtain individually.

To participate in the aggregation, TSSA members only have to complete an authorization form and supply a copy of recent bills. Tradition Energy will compare rates amongst the largest energy suppliers in Texas to secure a new energy contract that meets the group’s needs.
