TSSA Electricity Aggregation Program
The Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA) has partnered with Tradition Energy, a full-service energy management advisor and one of the nation’s largest energy procurement firms, to help TSSA members control electricity costs for their facilities.
The TSSA Electricity Aggregation Program is designed to bring together the leverage of multiple TSSA members to streamline the electricity contracting process and bring about savings in time, resources, and pricing for all involved. The program aggregates the purchasing power of TSSA members to negotiate better rates by buying energy the way larger buyers do.

3 Easy Steps to Managing Energy Costs
Getting started with the aggregation is simple, because you stay focused on your business and Tradition Energy does most of the work. There are three easy steps in this process.
Step 1: Data Capture
Tradition Energy requests your electricity usage from the utility company who delivers electricity to your facility.
Step 2: Pricing Strategy
We conduct an in-depth review and analysis of your historical electricity usage, combined with the group’s as a whole, and develop an energy aggregation pricing strategy.
Step 3: TSSA Executes Energy Contract
Through a competitive procurement process, a new electricity contract is secured to meet your needs. TSSA will execute the energy aggregation contract on your behalf and Tradition Energy will oversee the account switch from your current energy supplier to your new one.
Throughout the term of your contract, Tradition Energy will always be there to answer any questions you have about your account or help with any issues that may arise. In addition, we will keep you informed on an ongoing basis of energy market conditions and regulatory matters that could potentially impact energy management at your facilities.
